AFTRA taps trio for Excellence Honours
The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists has attracted on Pete Fornatale, Phylicia Rashad and Rosanne Cash as visitors in the AFTRA Foundation's AFTRA Media and Entertainment Excellence Honours. The kudos -- known to as AMEES -- is going to be provided inside a gala Feb. 6 within the Plaza Hotel in NY. "Pete, Phylicia and Rosanne have each made significant contributions for his or her fields after which accomplish this with integrity, dedication to excellence and recognition of the audiences and co-employees," mentioned Shelby Scott, AFTRA Foundation Leader and former AFTRA leader. Fonatenle remains an AFTRA member since 1970 just like a disc jockey and rock historian. He's the author of "For your garden: The Story of Woodstock," "Simon & Garfunkel's Bookends" and "You Simply Need Love: And 99 Other Existence Training from Classic Rock Tunes."
Rashad grew to become an associate of AFTRA in 1970 making her Broadway debut inside the 1975 musical "The Wiz."
